Since 2015, the acowsay team has worked alongside ICA Food Shelf to create a film for their annual Great Taste fundraiser. The Great Taste is a key fundraiser that allows ICA to continue their mission to create a healthy and stable community for all.
Neil’s story
When a cancer diagnosis left Neil needing to find a way to fill in the gaps, ICA stepped in. As he courageously battles cancer, he has found the support he needs to stay in his home, fill his fridge, and most importantly, focus on his health.
It was a privilege to help Neil share his story and his gratitude to ICA in this 2023 Great Taste film.

soulaire’s story
Soulaire Allerai’s ICA story began when her 6 boys were young, she was working full-time, and in school. Needing an extra boost to make ends meet, ICA stepped in to help Soulaire and her family. Years later, Soulaire, now a Life Strategist and Owner + Operator of Bad Rooster Food Truck, is stepping up to give back to ICA in a big way.
We were honored to help Soulaire tell her story for the 8th Annual The Great Taste fundraising event for ICA Food Shelf.
