Both of these remarkable individuals, over the course of ten weeks, worked tirelessly to raise funds to end blood cancers. Not tomorrow, not next week, NOW. Now is the time to step up and make a difference because someday is today.

For consecutive years, we were tasked with telling the compelling stories of candidates to use as a central part of a multi-platform fundraising campaign. Working directly with the candidates and their support network, we consulted on the best way to make video a key element to interacting with potential donors and sharing their emotional stories of loss and struggle, but ultimate hope.

The final films were hosted on Vimeo and strategically shared over the course of the first two weeks by different members of the fundraising team. Traffic to their respective collection sites was immediately increased as donations began to come in. Impressions were earned organically as each film collected hundreds of likes and dozens of shares. Each film amounted view counts in the thousands with real success coming off line.

While unfortunately Kiernan was runner up in the 2015 competition, she furthered her mission with additional donations of time and energy as she now travels the country to give speeches and sharing her film with the masses. To date, as result of her presence and her film, over $1,000,000 has been raised for LLS. The film has been utilized by every chapter of LLS, showcasing the power of telling a story and the impact one person can have for many.

Robert, raising over $46,000 during his campaign, was honored as the 2016 Man of Year, an award he is extremely proud and honored to have received. His film is being used post-campaign as well, allowing him to reach people he would have never been able to.

With additional films coming in 2016, we are beyond excited to play a continuing role in funding those WILL find the cure for blood cancer.
